Happy Halloween!

Well, today was Halloween and Braden had so much fun going out trick - or - treating tonight. We hope everyone had as much fun tonight as he did. Here are some pictures of him in his costume. Can you guess what he is?
Here is a hint . . . There are 10 in a set and you can knock them down with a ball.
(He's a bowling pin.)

Halloween Costumes

Our church had a Halloween party on Sunday, Oct. 26, and we took the boys. They had hot dogs, cookies, hot chocolate, games, and a costume trick or treat parade. The boys had a blast. Ethan fell in love with a cow and could not stay away from it. Here are some photos of the event and of the boys in their costumes (we are still trying to perfect Braden's for Halloween night). Elijah is a Clone Trooper from Star Wars, Ethan is Spiderman, and Braden is a bowling pin.

Crazy Eyes!

Nay-Nay bought the boys a set of "crazy" glasses and we just had to get a picture of the 3 of them together. We have to hide Braden's from him so he will keep his real glasses on and not the "crazy" ones.

More Fall Fun

Braden's cousin Elijah stayed overnight on Thursday, he was on fall break, and the next morning Nay-Nay and Pop took all 3 of the boys to Bounce USA for a day of bouncing fun. Braden and Elijah raced each other on the obstacle course and played Pop is a game of air hockey, while Ethan just kept going down the slide. Ethan eventually found a bounce area just for himself and he decided to relax in a tub of balls. The boys had a blast! We came home, had lunch, and passed out, well Ethan and I did. Elijah played Lego Star Wars and Braden watched.

Pumpkin Paitning

After our trip to the Pumpkin Patch Ethan took a nap and Elijah and Braden went outside to paint their pumpkins. Braden just went crazy with the paint, while Elijah did his best to re-create Batman, The Joker, and Robin on his. I think they both did an awesome job! . . . Next weekend, we cut!

Oakes Farm Pumpkin Patch

Today our Moms & Tots group at church went to the Oakes Farm Pumpkin Patch out in Corryton, TN. We had a blast. Elijah, Ethan, and Pop came too. We went on a hayride, picked a pumpkin, chased each other in a hay maze and did all sorts of other fun stuff too. I took some pictures and tried to get a nice shot of our "growing " family. Enjoy!

Watch out Tiger Woods, here comes Braden

Sunday afternoon Pop, Travis, Braden, and Elijah went to hit some golf balls. Ethan stayed at the house with me, he took a nap and I read my book and caught up on some shows. Braden and Elijah both have their own set of clubs and Braden hadn't used his yet. He just got them for his birthday from his Grandma and Grandpa. Anyway, the boys had fun hitting the balls, but according to Travis they lasted about 15 to 20 minutes in hitting and then just decided to chase each other around. Braden had so much fun that we will definitely have to do this again.

Saying Good-bye to a Dear Friend.

Sunday at church we had to say good-bye to some of our dear friends. Brian, Summer, Amilia, and Will Babis are leaving on Tuesday, Oct.7, for Dayton, Ohio. Brian has been stationed at the Air Force Base there. We were very saddened by their leaving. Braden and Amilia have become good friends over the past year and a half. The good thing is that both Summer and Brian's families are still in the Knoxville area, so they will be back to visit as often as they can. We will miss them.

Weekend Fun!

On Saturday Elijah and Ethan, Braden's cousins, came over to play. The 3 boys had a fantastic time together. Pop bought a crawling tube at a yard sale earlier that afternoon and set it up in our front yard. I think the favorite activity with the tube was the boys rolling in it down the very small hill. Ethan just loved sitting in the tube. Eventually the boys tired of it and started to look for a new activity. I brought out Braden's remote controlled Hummer he get for his birthday. Elijah loves driving it. Ethan and Braden then had Pop pull them around in the wagon. Before we all went in for some cookies and baths I took a lovely picture of the 3 boys.

A Picture of Our New Baby

Ok . . . I know it's just an ultrasound photo, but still. I left a new post about the info of the baby when I had the ultrasound on Friday Sept 26, I just didn't have the picture. Just in case you missed it, here is the info. The baby has a healthy heartbeat and is about the size of a grain of rice. The photo was taken at 6 weeks and 3 days (Sept 26). I am still having a lot of morning sickness, but I'll get through it. All the queasiness is worth the wonderful result in the end.

"I have a Dadda haircut"

Braden needed a haircut pretty bad, so he let me cut it for him. I cut Travis' with a set of cutting sheers and I have started to do Braden's as well. He enjoys it and always laughs when he tells me "ow momma that hurts me", like I said he laughs as he says this. After I was done cutting his hair Travis looked over it to make sure it was even and everything. Braden looked at Travis and said "Hey, I have a Dadda haircut. Momma cut it for me and Dadda cut it for me."

Queen Ragan

Yes, this is a picture of our cat Ragan. She was "sunbathing" on the windowsill in the kitchen and I just had to a picture of her. Shes so "girly" and thinks she is royalty.
