Tummy Time and Other Fun

Logan is getting so big!!! He is holding his head up very well and loves to laugh and smile. He blows spit bubbles and smiles when he does it too! He is working on his tummy time and he was so happy with it I snatched some pictures before he got too mad at me.

Braden's First Day of School!

Well today was the day! Braden started school at Saint Joseph Catholic School today. He was very proud to be wearing his uniform and going to a "big" school. He is only in the preschool program, but all the children have to wear the uniforms. The only thing he doesn't have to worry about wearing is a belt, but his shirt does have to be tucked in at all times. That will take some getting used to, but he will get it. My little boy is growing up so fast!!!

I took a few pictures of him this morning and then some more at school before I left. Today was a short day, but tomorrow he will be there all day long. What are Logan and I to do!? I am excited about Braden going to school, but I know I will miss him. Now I can give Logan my full attention on the days that Braden is at St. Joe's.

Braden is 4 Years Old!

My little boy is now officially a 4 year old! He has been asking me for months, "Momma, am I 4 years old yet?" Well, now he is! We celebrated his birthday with family and friends at Bounce House in North Knoxville. Travis and I couldn't keep track of Braden. He was just zipping around from one inflatable to the next like a flash of light. Not only did the kids have a blast, but us adults had fun too. Travis and Aunt Lanie raced in the obstacle course, Travis won. I raced Aunt Lanie too, but she beat me twice. Aunt Maureen, Aunt Lanie, and I went down the slide and loved it! Even Pop was enjoying himself in the inflatables.
We had a snag in the cake department this year. Nay-Nay had a reaction to some medicine they gave her at the dialysis clinic on Friday and she had yet to make the cake. So, I decided I would just make cupcakes myself. I had Nay-Nay's icing recipe and knew what to do. They didn't look as pretty as Nay-Nay's but they tasted just as great!
Braden had a great time, got some great gifts, but overall he was just happy to have his friends and family celebrate his birthday.

Logan is 3 months old!

Well, here was are. Another month has gone by. Logan is now officially 3 months old!!! I cannot believe it. He is growing so fast too!!!! Logan loves to watch his big brother do anything, eat, sleep, and just be talked to. He has the biggest smiles ever!!! He is a happy baby and is taking at least 1 nap a day along with sleeping through the night. This is a treat for momma, because his big brother Braden refused to take a nap until he was 5 months old (but he did sleep through the night at 4 months old). Braden is adjusting well to being a big brother. He loves helping momma get blankets, feed Logan, and make him laugh.

Braden saw me feeding Logan a bottle the other day and asked if he could feed his little brother Logan. Of course I said yes! Any chance for him to bond with his brother is a good thing!!! He was so happy to help out. Braden even looked at me and said "Momma, I'm a good big brother, I like feeding my baby brother Logan."

Sorry we have been MIA lately. Braden and Logan are doing wonderfully. Logan will be 3 months on Friday, August 14, and Braden will be 4 years old on Saturday, August 15!!!!!!! I cannot believe how time flies. My little boys are getting so BIG! I had the camera out the other day and figured I'd better get some pictures before these boys grow up and decide that I cannot take pictures of them anymore. I'll have Logan's monthly picture with George soon and tons of pictures from Braden's party up by the end of the weekend. Stay tuned!!
